FAQ
Photovoltaic (PV) Systems convert sunlight to an electric current. These systems allow you to produce electricity without additional noise or air polution, and many of the PV system componets today are made here in the United States.
Learn more About How Solar Works
1) Solar Panels - Sunlight hits the panels and it is converted to clean electricity.
2) Inverter - Electricity generated is called DC which is then converted to AC via the inverter connected to your panels.
3) Electrical panel - The AC power now travels from the inverter into the electrical panel (breaker box). It can now power your house.
4) Household electricity - During peak hours, your own power can help offset peak charges during the day. Enviromental Benefits - For every megawatt hour of solar electricity produced, the Earth is spared over 1500 lbs of greenhouse gases! such as CO2, SO2, NOX, Particulates
5) Meter - Meters register the amount of electricity that’s been produced. If you produce more electricity then you need, the meter literally spins backward crediting you that will help offset your next bill
6) Utility Grid - Your home is still connected to the utility grid to supply you power when you use more than you produce.

2) System Monitoring - Over the next 5 years, we will monitor your output to make sure the panels are producing enough electricty. You will have access to the panel too, and can monitor yourself. Our warranties go beyond the 5 years 10 years for our construction, and 25 years for the panels
